Use Templates in Automation

This feature allows you to automate many things, connected to creating standard issues that normally are boring and time-consuming. With Automation and Issue Templates Agent things like: Preparing Onboarding epic, or creation of project with prepared issues are now possible in a blink of an eye!

Check out our suggestions of use cases:

Everything you need to your automation rule

  1. API Token

  2. REST API url

  3. Body of request (in case you would like to create a new issue, you need to add issueTypeId, to your own)

How to generate a token for automation rules?

These steps are required also in the Use cases in the subpages, so be sure to read it.

  1. Go to Apps -> Issue Templates Agent -> Templates and select checkboxes near templates, you would like to use.

  2. Press "Use in REST API".

  3. Create some label for token and generate it.

Remember that automations connected to creating new project, could only be found in global Automation page.
