Test cases are a group of execution preconditions, expected results and execution postconditions. They are developed with a purpose of testing a particular path and verify compliance with a specific requirement.
Test Cases in ATM are a work items and can be created using native features of Jira - the main Create button, or the shortcut Create in the Kanban board. Once created, the users can access different functionalities connected to Test Cases by going into the work item.
Remember that in order for the work item to be recognized as a Test Case it needs to be a proper work type (the one defined in the Testing Setup).
As Test Cases are a Jira work items, they maintain the same outlook and navigation. Under the description field, users can find the Test Management panel, where they can add Test Steps.
