Organizing test cases in test plans gives testers a chance to effortlessly manage and maintain the tests conducted. It is a step in test management process that gives a clear visibility of changes made and allows to execute the tests efficiently. As the resources of the testing team are optimized, they can focus on their responsibilities and help deliver a high-quality product.

Test Plans item

Test Plans in ATM are another Jira work item and their available in the project chosen in the Testing Setup. This work item also contains one of our . Here, it is used to allow the users to view Test cases thanks to the custom field and get a quick overview of the items.

Creating Test Plans

Test Plans can be created from the main Create work item dialog. Additionally, the window will also show custom field ATM Test Cases, where appropriate work items can be chosen - items defined as Test Cases in accordance to the Testing Setup.
