Cross-project templates

Create templates for any project

The configuration of is slightly different in comparison with private and public templates.

Steps

  1. Click on the Apps in the top bar, choose Issue Scheduler

  2. The Templates section is active by default. You should now see a list of templates

  3. Click on the + Create template button

  4. Provide template name, description (optional), and choose a cross-project template type

  5. Advanced options should appear after switching to Cross-Project (and Public) type

  6. Provide restrictions in the advanced settings (optional)

  7. Provide values for Jira fields: Summary, Description, Priority, and Due Date

  8. Create sub-templates if needed

  9. Click on the Save button

Result

A new template has been created. You can preview it on the template list.
