Bulk Actions

This feature can help you update merged or linked issues at once. Let's take a look at its abilities.

How to access "Bulk Actions"?

  1. Go to any target issue, preferably a one with merged issues.

  2. Click on the Actions menu and go into "Bulk Actions".

  1. In the new window, you can configure what do you want do in bulk - link issues, add comments, change statuses.

  2. Decide whether you want to make changes in linked or merged issues.

    1. If you don't have any merged issues, the issue list will be empty. The app can redirect you to the merge window.

Bulk edits in Merged Issues:

  1. To make changes in merged issues, select at least one from the list to perform any actions.

  1. The users can:

    1. Set up a link type between current and selected issues (merged or/and already linked ones).

    2. Change resolution.

    3. Add comments - either as internal notes or replies to customers. The text can be formatted to your needs, with additional elements such as links, code snippets, etc.

      1. Reply to customers is possible only in Service projects; in Software or Business ones, the comments will be always added internally.

    4. Change status for merged issues.

  2. To complete the edits, click the "Make changes" button.

  3. The last screen will show, which actions were successful.

Bulk edits in Linked Issues:

  1. To make changes in linked issues, select the ones from the list, which need to be updated.

  1. In this window, the users can:

    1. Change resolution.

    2. Add comments - either as internal notes or replies to customers. The text can be formatted to your needs, with additional elements such as links, code snippets, etc.

    3. Change status for linked issues.

  2. To complete the edits, click the "Make changes" button.

  3. The last screen will show, which actions were successful.
