This page describes where Jira administrators can find saved information about customers and organizations.

The collected informations about customers and organizations are available on Jira Service Management:

The service agent that are added to Customers and Organizations Browse Permission group in Global Permissions has got also access to the Customers and Organizations section.

🐾 Steps for Customer Tab

  1. Click on the Apps in the top navigation, choose Customers & Organizations

  2. Select Customers tab (this tab is launched by default while accessing the app)

  3. The table loads

  • Grouped by Users: A list contains all Customers (to access this page you need to have Customers and Organizations Browse Permission) with their Name, Project(s), Email, Organizations and list of Requests shown by default, and other columns that you have chosen while creating Forms.

  • Filters: Search by Name, email or other Field values. Limit the view only to one project in which you're interested now.

  • Columns: Select which columns you want to display on the table. Columns that can't be hidden are listed below:

    • User

  • Columns that can be hidden but not pernamently deleted

    • Email

    • Requests



    • Projects

    • Organizations

  • Edit Customer: Here you can find the full customer profile. To access that click on "Open Customer" then click on the value to edit it.

  • Edit Organizations: To access that click on the Checkbox on the left side of User column and then Edit Organizations, then add your customer to organizations of your choice or remove him from the selected Organizations

  • Edit Projects: To access that click on the Checkbox on the left side of User column and then Edit Projects, then add your customer to Projects of your choice

  • Add Customer: Add new customer with ease without leaving the table, Email have to be unique each time (adding new customer might take a moment)

You can sort each column Ascending or Descending by clicking on it's header. (Only Requests column can't be sorted)

You can't edit the values displayed in the Edit Customer section without the Customers & Organizations Browse Permission Informations that are provided by the customer in his Atlassian account are not editable in the Edit Customer section.

🐾 Steps for Organizations Tab

  1. Click on the Apps in the top navigation, choose Customers & Organizations

  2. Select Organizations tab

  3. The table loads

  • Grouped organizations: A list contains all service organizations to which you have Browse Project permission. Next to the name you see the label with a number of tickets open and closed in the organization.

  • Filters: Search by Name, email or other Field values. Limit the view only to one project in which you're interested now.

  • Columns: Select which columns you want to display in the table. Columns that can't be hidden are listed below:

    • Organization Name

  • Columns that can be hidden but not pernamently deleted

    • Email

    • Requests



    • Projects

  • Edit Details: Here you can find the full organization information. Click on the value to edit it.

  • Add Organizations: Here you can add multiple organizations at once.

  • Edit Projects: To access that click on the Checkbox on the left side of Organizations column and then Edit Projects, then add or remove your Organization to Projects of your choice

  • Edit Customers: To access that click on the Checkbox on the left side of Organizations column and then Edit Organizations, then add or remove Customers to organizations of your choice

  • Remove Organizations: To access that click on the Checkbox on the left side of Organizations column. New button "Remove Organization(s)" will appear, here you can remove organizations of your choice.
